1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using RiteLoop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the service.
2. Description of Service
RiteLoop is a ritual and habit tracking application designed for long-term identity transformation. The service consists of:
- Rites: Create and manage rituals with names, descriptions, schedules (weekdays, times, repeat rules), and tags
- Daily Rites: Automatically generated daily instances of your rites for tracking
- Completion Logging: Log start and end times for rites, with duration tracking
- Real-Time Sync: Data is synced in real time via websockets across your devices
The web application connects to our backend, which stores your data in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU.
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
You sign in with Google OAuth. You must use a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any devices you use to access RiteLoop.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the service (or by contacting us if self-service deletion is not available).
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service (including websockets connections)
- Upload malicious content or abuse the API
5. Intellectual Property
Our Content
RiteLoop, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Carcosa R&D AB. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the rites, logs, and content you create. By using the service, you grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
RiteLoop is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Real-time sync depends on network connectivity and may occasionally lag or fail.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carcosa R&D AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
